The Next Step in Allergy-Friendly Dining
Ingredifind is a hospitality-focused platform that helps diners with food allergies eat safely and confidently. Restaurants use the system to manage their menus and ingredient data, while diners can discover trusted venues and see what’s safe for them to eat, instantly.
Problem
Food allergy management in restaurants is often inconsistent and manual. Diners are forced to rely on printed charts or staff knowledge, while restaurants struggle to maintain accurate allergen information across systems and menus.
Ingredifind needed to bridge this gap, giving restaurants a tool to manage allergen data easily, and diners a way to confidently filter menus by their personal dietary needs.
The challenge
Designing a multi-sided platform for both restaurants and diners with very different needs.
Translating complex allergen data into a clear, visual, and human experience.
Ensuring scalability across cuisines, languages, and dietary categories.
Maintaining accuracy and compliance while creating an emotionally reassuring design.
Defining a mobile experience that made allergen-safe dining as simple as checking a map or ordering online.
My role
As Founding Lead Product Designer, I defined the product vision and design strategy end-to-end, from research, user journeys, and prototypes to launch-ready UI and brand execution.
I collaborated directly with the founder, engineers, and partners to create the restaurant CMS, diner mobile app, allergen card experience, and marketing website, while establishing a scalable design system and component library for future growth.
